Areas of focus are the themes you will explore in the Personal Power quarter. The quarter divides into three sections, each one month long. Each month, you’ll take a closer look at the different components of Personal Power.
Flex Your Muscles: Experience What It’s Like to Exercise Your Power: This month, you’ll get in touch with your own ‘myth-conceptions’ about what’s holding you back from exercising your personal power. You will explore the fears and joys of being able to say “no” as you learn about your own style of conflict in order to exercise more control over your environment.
Stand Up For Yourself: This month will teach you ways to develop more of your unique power. Assignments in this segment will have you practice increasing levels of personal resistance, including how to pick a fight with intention and getting more of what you like and less of what you dislike.
Expanding Your Power Range: This month invites you to experiment with your personal power. You will also discover the attractive power of your presence, whether you are an extrovert or an introvert. As you complete this track, you will learn to integrate your personal power in your life as you successfully resolve conflicts to your satisfaction. This is some of the most powerful work you can do, and it will have profound positive changes in how you live your life.
