Taylor Gothard

Taylor is the Director of Operations, Registrar, and Financial Aid for the Wright Graduate University. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the registrar and financial aid functions and works closely with the Campus Director, Chancellor, Chief Visual Realization Officer, and Chief Academic Officer to help turn ideas into reality to best service our students and community.

Taylor has spent the majority of his career in higher education. He has been involved in academic advising, accreditation and compliance, admissions, curriculum development, financial aid, instruction, registrar, and student affairs positions. If it has to do with earning a college degree; most likely Taylor has contributed to the process.  Prior to joining the Wright Graduate University, he was managing an education program helping medical students refine their interpersonal and communication skills as they prepared for residency training in the United States.

He is an avid Disney fan having spent his early career working in various roles with the Walt Disney Company. He attributes many of his leadership talents, early learnings, and student-centric approach to development opportunities he had while working with Disney.

Taylor holds an EdD in Educational Leadership and Management and MS in Psychology from Capella University where his research focused on communication strategies to help educational institutions best service the student community. He also holds a BS degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Human Resources (MHR) from Rollins College.
