Taylor is the Director of Operations, Registrar, and Financial Aid and the Distance Education Coordinator for the Wright Graduate University. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the registrar and financial aid functions and works closely with the Campus Director, Chancellor, Chief Visual Realization Officer, and Chief Academic Officer to turn ideas into reality to best service our students and community. As Distance Education Coordinator he manages the learning management system, system enhancements, and trainings for students and faculty on the University’s use of Canvas.
Taylor has spent the majority of his career in higher education. If it has to do with earning a college degree; most likely Taylor has contributed to the process. He has been involved in academic advising, accreditation and compliance, admissions, curriculum development, financial aid, instruction, registrar, and student affairs positions. Prior to joining the Wright Graduate University, he managed an experiential education program helping medical students refine their interpersonal and communication skills as they prepared for residency training in the United States.
He is an avid Disney fan having spent his early career working in various roles with the Walt Disney Company. He attributes many of his leadership talents, early learnings, and student-centric style to development opportunities he had while working with Disney.
Taylor holds an EdD in Educational Leadership and Management and MS in Psychology from Capella University where his research focused on communication strategies to help educational institutions best service the student community. He also holds a BS in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Human Resources (MHR) from Rollins College.
