Our Team

KAREN TERRY

An award-winning writer and video producer with more than three decades of communications experience, Karen redirected her career to human emergence coaching at the Wright Foundation based on her studies at WGU. As a doctoral student she dedicated her research to better understanding, codifying, and advancing Wright’s unique advanced coaching methodology.  Karen earned a Bachelor of General Studies degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Arts from Northwestern University. Dedicated with her husband Tom to fostering dialogue and systems locally and globally that support adults to meaningfully engage in the “third third” of life, Karen is president-elect of the Board of Trustees at The Village Chicago. She is also a lecturer in the School of Education & Social Policy at Northwestern University and a Coach Educator in Northwestern’s Executive Learning & Organizational Change (ELOC) program.
