GEORGE MILLER

Being an A/V and Marketing Specialist at Wright, George has to be on his toes, constantly devising ways to bring Wright’s services to the public.

Introduction :

George Miller is an activator, coaching emerging leaders in a variety of professions and communities. Using the Wright model of mutuality, he likes to create a space of security and trust in coaching through warmth and his open nature as he invites people to be increasingly curious about themselves and to explore new, more satisfying ways of being.

Background :

George received his Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, Psychology and Human Development from Union Institute and University.

“I’ve never been a fan of the status quo or anything that dims the light of being alive. I value the adventure of living a full life – in every area of life – whether that means celebrating a success or acknowledging and learning from a failure. I like to explore inner workings with people in the service of richer relationships and successful careers.”

What is your favorite place in Chicago that is not a typical tourist destination?

“The “secret beach” south of 12th street beach.  Oh, and Fulton Market street.  All the galleries, lofts and studio spaces.”

If you could live anywhere else in the world, where would you live?

“New York, Berlin or L.A.  I want to live in the Rockies for a while too.”

What TV or Movie character best exemplifies you and why?

“Edward Norton in Fight Club, because I also put myself in extreme situations to find myself. Or Matt Damon in Goodwill Hunting, because every day I’m afraid to be me and everyday I battle internally to take another step towards my potential.”

What is your favorite sports team to cheer against?

“Karl Malone & John Stockton’s Utah Jazz in the ‘90s.”
